Cara Studios, 1910 Carnegie Library Studio/Gallery
In the center of the Historic Heartland lies the town of Barnesville which boasts a gem of an historic building, the restored Carnegie Library. The magnificent 1910 Georgian Revival building is a National Historic Register Property. Artist and poet, Cara, lovingly preserved its beautiful accoutrements under the watchful eye of the community and established a working art studio/gallery in the building. She created unique living quarters on the second floor and a lush sculpture garden on the property. She schedules unique cultural art performances by appointment. Cara also hosts group historic tours, studio and garden tours by appointment. The unique building is available for Special Occasion Rentals.
