Relief Map at Ringgold
Built in the 1930's by the WPA, this park and four others commemorate William Tecumseh Sherman's Atlanta Campaign. At this small enclosure made entirely of local material, a marker describes the geography of Northwest Georgia and gives a brief overview of the campaign itself. The bronze marker was cast at Georgia Tech. The park is in the area of the Battle of Ringgold Gap, fought as a rear-guard action by Patrick Cleburne.

Directions: I-75 exit 348, east on highway 151 to U. S. Highway 41 south (right), 1/2 mile on right (at top of hill).
Additional information:
The park has picnic facilities.
